Criminal Defense Attorney Justin Rodriguez developed a passion for the law early in his childhood. As a native Angeleno, Attorney Rodriguez witnessed his friends and family suffer when dealing with a legal system stacked against those unable to secure strong legal representation. Growing up in East L.A., he would often witness police brutality, biased treatment by law enforcement, and unfair criminal proceedings. Seeing these injustices first hand, Attorney Rodriguez devoted his life to becoming an attorney to fight for the “little guy”, vowing to offer legal strength, knowledge, and integrity to members of his community.
Attorney Rodriguez received a local K-12 education before attending the University of Arizona, where he received a Bachelor’s degree with a major in English. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from American College of Law.
Attorney Justin Rodriguez began his legal career working for his father, also a criminal defense attorney. He also became familiar with other areas of civil law while working with law firms in downtown Los Angeles. He has since worked to deepen his knowledge of the law, with career experience as a law professor at American College of Law, a government affairs director for the Los Angeles County Board of Realtors, and a senior officer for the Contracts & Grants Department at USC.
Justin Rodriguez is an active member of the California State Bar, the Mexican American Bar Association, the Latino Chamber of Commerce, and the Criminal Courts Bar Association of Los Angeles.
With his wealth of knowledge and experience, Attorney Rodriguez now devotes his energies to fighting for criminal defense clients at the Law Offices of Scott Warmuth. He agrees with the firm’s vision and seeks to serve clients with heart, courage, and the desire to ensure every client’s rights are protected at every step of the legal process.
