Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti Visits Chinatown

The Law Offices of Scott Warmuth has been an actively involved in the local Chinese community for more than 30 years. Founder and president Scott Warmuth, general manager Tammy Wong, and immigration attorney Yesenia Acosta recently attended an event billed as a meet and greet between the residents and community of Chinatown and the Los Angeles Mayor’s office. The event was held on July 29th at the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association’s (CCBA) headquarters in Chinatown.

The CCBA aims to provide social services and promote the interests of Chinese Americans and represents several local organizations. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Los Angeles Councilmember Gilbert Cedillo both presented their visions for the future of Los Angeles and Chinatown, addressing important issues and possible solutions important to Chinatown residents and the Chinese community. In the 127 year history of the CCBA, this was the first time the group has been addressed by the mayor.

The Law Offices of Scott Warmuth took some pictures and videos of the event, which we’ve posted below!
