While planning your New Years celebrations, consider taking precautions if you are going to be on the roadways.
- If you or your party will be consuming alcohol, designate a sober driver
- Do not allow anyone who has been drinking to get behind the wheel
- Consider staying the night at your destination
- If hosting a party, help arrange transportation and/or lodging ahead of time
- If you see a drunk driver on the road, notify authorities
